PhotoGlobe Sorter Installation - The Adventure Begins

💻 Installation Guide for Windows

PhotoGlobe Sorter runs on all versions of Windows 10 and 11. The installation process is fully automated and requires no special technical configuration.

1. Download the installation file
   Click the download button on the AlbumForge website. You will get an executable file named PhotoGlobe_Sorter_Setup_v1.8.8.8.exe. The file size is approximately 220 MB.
2. Launch the installer
   Double-click the PhotoGlobe_Sorter_Setup_v1.8.8.8.exe file you just downloaded. The installation wizard will start automatically.
⚠️ Windows Defender security message? This is normal! Windows sometimes displays a warning for new software that isn't yet widely distributed. Click "More info", then click the "Run anyway" button. PhotoGlobe Sorter is 100% safe and contains no malware.



3. Follow the wizard steps
   The installation wizard opens with a clear interface. Simply click "Next" at each step, accept the terms of use, and let the process complete. Installation usually takes between 30 seconds and 1 minute, depending on your computer's speed.
4. Installation complete!
   A new "PhotoGlobe Sorter" icon appears on your Windows desktop. You can also find the software in the Start Menu under "All Programs". Double-click the icon to launch PhotoGlobe Sorter for the first time.

🔧 Troubleshooting Installation Issues

If you encounter difficulties during installation, here are solutions to the most common problems PhotoGlobe Sorter users face.

Windows: "The program can't start because VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing"

This message indicates that the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable libraries are missing from your system. Solution:

1. Download the Visual C++ Redistributables from the official Microsoft website.
2. Install both the x86 and x64 versions.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Relaunch the PhotoGlobe Sorter installation.

All Systems: Installation fails or hangs

• Check that you have enough disk space (at least 500 MB free).
